VACANCIES FOR VISITOR SERVICES ATTENDANT

We are looking for enthusiastic, confident and dedicated people to join ‘The Awakening’ team! We are a small but growing team working in a fun, fast paced and unique environment at St Michael’s Cave.

The responsibilities of a Visitor Services Attendant include:

Support the operation of the photobooth which includes the use of the greenscreen to capture photos of visitors.
Encourage visitors to take and view their photos as part of ‘The Awakening’ experience
Till operation and cash handling
Upselling
Face-to-face interaction with visitors to enhance their experience of ‘The Awakening’ at St Michael’s Cave.
Guiding visitors through the cave and providing them with a memorable experience
To develop knowledge of the operation of ‘The Awakening’ system to ensure the experience is performing correctly.
Identify faults, incidents or hazards and report them to the shift supervisor
Training and teaching will be provided.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Part time and full time positions available
Shift work between the hours of 9am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday
Candidates must be willing to work weekends
Overtime may be required for after hours events and early openings/late closes
Above minimum wage pay
Evening events paid at a higher rate of pay

Candidates best suited to the role will be confident, personable and professional, bringing enthusiasm and personality to the role. This is a customer facing role and we are looking for candidates who thrive in this environment.

Experience in customer facing roles is preferable, but not essential as we value enthusiasm and personality!

A good command of English is essential and the ability to speak multiple languages is preferable.

Personal transport must be considered as the role is based at St Michael’s Cave.
